About UsFounded in the south city area off Vandevanter Boulevard in 1920, USONA was organized as a well-known and highly respected foundry which specialized in ornate and intricate statuary castings. Many of their castings can be viewed on buildings, statues, monuments and other highly-noticeable locations throughout the St. Louis area. Union Station is one such structure which maintains casting formed from the USONA foundry. Over the years, and as the foundry industry and specialty casting business evolved, USONA was transformed into a leader in the metal finishing and anodizing business by today's standards. While USONA no longer maintains its' headquarters on Vandevanter Boulevard, it does maintain a St. Louis presence with two manufacturing operations: one in St. Louis and the other operation about one hour west of St. Louis, in Cuba, Missouri.
